Prefabrication Consulting
During prefabrication, D&P and the client work together to develop a design execution plan. D&P develops a schedule, builds the project in AUTOCAD, and constructs prototypes to verify the design's "build-ability". Based on our knowledge and experience as well as the client's budget and priorities, we make recommendations to the project.
- Design Engineering and Detailing
-
D&P's detailing department skillfully translates schematic designs into scaled construction drawings. By accounting for the specified materials, products, and budget, we maintain design intent while designating each exhibit element's construction methods. D&P's engineering and detailing departments are equipped to receive and integrate information from most AUTOCAD and design software packages.

- LEED/Green Building Practices
-
D&P is a member of the US Green Building Council (USGBC) and very familiar with the current LEED guidelines/credit system for New Construction. These guidelines provide a standard for the design and construction of high performance environments that are healthy, productive places to work, are less costly to operate and maintain, and are environmentally responsible. While exhibit construction plays a relatively small part in the overall award of rating points, having team members who are familiar with the global needs of the project will enhance our clients' chances of achieving LEED certification.

- Audiovisual Systems and Lighting Engineering
-
D&P's Audiovisual and Lighting Systems specialists support architects, exhibit and interior designers, and corporate or governmental design and A/V departments. D&P provides feasibility studies, equipment analysis and recommendations, cost analysis, operational and maintenance requirements, and the engineering and assembly of prototype units. We facilitate the implementation of AV media and lighting systems in a practical, cost-effective manner.
